playing yumonsters keeps my inner demons at bay

yumonsters is a game about raising pet monsters that are also vegetables.
in the game you can deepen your bond with your pet monster by bribing them with food and expensive gifts.
kind of like friends in real life.
the lore of yumonsters runs deep.
you can feed your yumonster vegetable foods, but also the monsters are vegetable foods.
why are some vegetables monsters, but others are not?
are normal vegetables just monsters that passed away?
if animals in yumonsters are all vegetables, then how is the meat sourced?

is feeding vegetable food to a vegetable monster ethical? i’ll never tell.
since yumonsters is about raising a pet, comparisons with an older popular children’s game cannot be avoided.
i’m talking of course about dark souls.
in my opinion yumonsters is better than dark souls because there is no backtracking.
overall i think yumonsters is a delectable little snack of a game that’ll leave a nice savoury aftertaste in your mouth.
and also it was made by bahamutgreen so there’s that.
play it here before it’s stolen by big corporations and smothered in microtransactions.
the images in this post come from yumonsters the game, which is not, and will probably never be, owned by me.
